Project

For the project of an apartment on the secondary market, a restrained and minimalist design with eclectic additions was chosen, ideally reflecting the preferences of a married couple over 50 years old. The main approach was to use existing furniture, which was carefully restored to harmonize with the new interior.
 Apartment area before redevelopment = 94.88 sq.m
Ceiling height = 2650 m
Apartment area after redevelopment = 94.76 sq.m
The color palette of the apartment is presented through primary colors: neutral shades - light gray, beige, white, warm sand and accents: deep natural shades such as chocolate, soft blue, blue, sand are added through textiles and accessories.
Apartment finishing:
Wallpaper, decorative panels, mirror inserts and ceramic tiles were used to decorate the walls. The floors are high-quality laminate with a natural wood look; in wet areas there is porcelain stoneware with a stone texture. Ceilings: straight, white, with built-in lighting.
Textures:
Natural materials and their imitations: wood, linen, cotton, stone. Discreet textiles: light curtains, plain bedspreads, sofa cushions with minimalist patterns. Some existing furniture has been carefully restored to fit into the overall style. The upholstery of the upholstered furniture has been updated using fabrics in soothing colors. The furniture arrangement is optimized to create a spacious and functional space.
Lighting in the apartment is a combination of general and accent light: the main lighting is built-in lamps or a laconic chandelier. Additional items include table lamps, sconces and floor lamps with warm light.
Accessories:
Minimum amount of decor: paintings and photos in strict frames, vases, books. Live plants in ceramic pots add coziness and freshness.
The interior turned out to be warm, cozy and maximally functional, reflecting the taste and preferences of the owners. This approach to design makes the apartment not only stylish, but also individual, emphasizing the connection with history and personal belongings of the family.
